I enjoy going to meets, attending team social events (bonfires / volleyball games / potlucks), and swimming with everyone at practice. Most importantly, I love the friends that I have made on this team! When I’m not swimming, you can catch me jumping around at badger games, reading a good book, or hanging out with friends at the terrace. Sally Conroy Year: Senior Major: Political Science Favorite Race: 4x100 Free Relay Bio: I'm Sally and this will be my fourth year at UW and my fourth year on SCUW. Having come to Wisconsin from Virginia, I joined the team with the goal of making friends and can confidently say that I succeeded! I transitioned from being an individual athlete to a team player and my favorite/best events are relays! Outside the pool, you can find me spending time with my sorority, working for the ILS department, breaking it down on the dance floor, or enjoying a burger at Dotty’s. I also love to crack a good joke once in a while. I am so excited to take my final lap as SCUW’s Finance Chair for the second year in a row and keep the juice, fire, and hot desire alive at SCUW. Go Badgers!! |

Marketing Chair
AJ Dehnke Year: Junior Major: Journalism Favorite Race: 400 IM Bio: Hi everybody! I'm AJ and I'm so excited to be serving as the marketing chair for this season! Going into college, I knew that I wanted to join SCUW because swimming has been an important aspect of my life since I was 8. I love how SCUW enables me to continue swimming in a low-stakes and fun environment! Madison was a big and scary environment to step into freshman year, but SCUW quickly became a place where I could consistently show up, be my unapologetic self and get to hang out with some of the coolest people on campus. Outside of practice, you can usually find me locked in (or talking to friends) at the library, hammocking in the lakeshore, or sipping on a Bubbl'r. I also enjoy collecting vinyl records (Beyonce, anyone?), building legos, and caring for my plants! I'm so excited for the season and I can't wait to make so many new memories with you all :) |
Social Chair
Maggie Krajnak Year: Junior Major: Kinesiology and Psychology and a Certificate in Theatre Favorite Race: 100 Back and 50 Fly Bio: Hey guys! My name is Maggie Krajnak and I am from Franklin, Wisconsin, right outside of Milwaukee. I have been a member of SCUW for my entire time at UW so far, but I swam with the club team SWAT from when I was eight years old to all through high school. On top of swim, I am also in the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha, so I am a huge supporter of both club sports and Greek Life! This team and the people on it mean the world to me, so I always do my best to show up and be an approachable friend to everyone. It is my hope that all new and old members find the same love for SCUW that I have, and I am excited to grow closer with everyone this season! |
Practice Coordinator
Joe Skantz Year: Senior Major: Computer Science and Business Favorite Race: 50 Fly Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Joe and I am a senior this year. Being a swimmer all throughout high school, SCUW was naturally the first club I joined on campus. Looking back, I can confidently say that this was the right call. Through the countless home, travel, and nationals meets, training trips to Florida, group cycling classes and volleyball days, SCUW fundraisers, and social events, this club has truly become a second home on campus for me. Outside of swimming, I love lifting weights, spending time with friends and family, hanging out at the terrace, and traveling to new places! I'm super excited for this upcoming year, and cannot wait to meet everyone! |
